The West End of Vancouver is a confluence
of supernatural beauty and urban vitality. This is Vancouver’s
premiere downtown community where you feast on ocean, mountain
and city views. Explore this active, diverse community with
us where Vancouverites walk, blade, cycle and swim the boardwalks
and beaches of their own back yard.
The tour begins on the edge of the city, at the world famous
Stanley Park, a 1000 acre urban forest rich in First Nations
mythology. It meanders through the West End’s safe, tree-lined
streets to spicy Davie Street, the dynamic heart of the West
End. Join us on this 90
minute walk where towering condos
share shaded, residential streets with heritage architecture.
Consistently rated as one of the most livable places on Earth,
the West End is classic Vancouver.

Walk #3– yaletown
tour
Yaletown is bristling, modern, and
dynamic; one foot wearing a railroad work boot in the formerly
muddy False Creek, while a second dons a diamond studded high
heel, to show off the places to see, and be seen in new Vancouver. Hip
urban bars and restaurants buzz in the shadow of this towering
glass and brick industrial heritage hybrid community. Punt-dogs
lead yoga-mat-toting temptresses to marinas or penthouses. Days
spent resuscitating credit cards in cardiac arrest after marathon
boutique shopping, followed by nights roaming crowded romantic
streets, dinning, dancing and watching the who’s who of
Hollywood North. For 90
minutes, we walk and daydream
through this world as guests... and imagine what if.
Start Time: 2:30
pm Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
NO WALKS ON JULY 14, 15, 16
Where: The Yaletown
walking tour begins at Vancouver Public Library, outside on
the South steps, facing Robson Street. Have a look at our
